I will neither confirm nor deny, because my early training is in folklore as well as well as anthropology, and I believe in the polygenesis of stories like there (i.e., there were probably multiple tales of babies being saved by wolves that gave rise to the Romulus and Remus story).

But...yeah, it was totally Romulus and Remus!
