I had to post something because right now when I log onto my live journal I get a big picture of a naked odalisque. Now, naked odalisques are great, everyone should have one, but I just sent out my address to everyone (including my grandma), and I think greeting them at the door "naked" would be kinda gauche. They'll have to scroll down to the next entry if they want to see dancing girls.

I'm also avoiding work. I'm applying for several grants from the Council of European studies so that I can (hopefully) go to Ireland this summer and work on my Pre-disseratation research. Instead, I'm watching Loki knead his ball of technicolor yarn, and I'm worrying about pictures of naked woman on my page. Earlier I cleaned and did mine and David's taxes. I tend to get a lot of chores done when I've got something important to do. Not to mention the amount of e-mail I take care of. Human beings are very odd.

David and I are leaving for Chicago tonight because his Aunt Dana is getting married tomorrow. This means that my stalling time is coming to an end. So that's it, I'm going to start working now. I'll keep folks posted.
