Dear Author,

Thank you in advance for writing something especially for me! I've tried to keep things as open as possible while still giving you prompts that might lead to chewy goodness, but if you have an idea for a fic that you've been burning to write, please ignore all my suggestions and write that instead. As long as you avoid my don'ts, I prefer to get a fic that someone enjoyed writing to something where they had to backbend to please some random suggestion of mine.

I love all of these fandoms -- please don't take more words about a particular one as indication that I like it more. I just had more to say about some than about others. A fic in any one of them would make me extremely happy!

1. Fandom: Ice Fantasy

I love Ying Kong Shi. He's not only my favorite character in this show, he's one of my favorite characters, period. He's got this great ambiguous trickster thing going on that is my absolute crack -- like a Hermes or Loki figure. I love his absolute, soul-deep love for Ka Suo that means he would do anything for his brother's happiness. I love his love/hate feelings towards both the Ice and Fire tribes. I love that he's perfectly comfortable gender-flipping And dude, the part where he takes on the guise of the mermaid princess to seduce the Fire King WHO WE BELIEVE TO BE HIS FATHER AT THAT TIME!!! so he can assassinate him?

Like, that is some hard core weird mythology level stuff. I love it.

I also like that he has lines he won't cross, not even for Ka Suo. Like rape. Cause... yeah. That's an important line not to cross.

One thing that weirded me out out first was the question about his age -- going from being a kid to being a young man in one instant could still be pretty squicky for me. But I think they make it fairly clear that he had some sort of magically-stunted growth thing that affected his physical growth as well as his magical abilities, so he's actually 100 years old, and the sudden transformation into young-manhood is reflective of his actual age, not a Big moment where he's an aged up kid. If you write him in sexual situations, I'd very much like to go with this interpretation of canon.

For prompts, I'd love anything that explores his relationship with Ka Suo at any time in the series. Romance/feels development would be awesome if you feel like writing that, but I'm also down with brotherly friendship (I really see these two as having a sort of Hermes & Apollo vibe). I'm less interested in pure PWP unless you're itching to write it. I'm in it for the deep emotional development stuff: Side adventures in the mortal world; court politics and backstabbing when Ying Kong Shi is working to give Ka Suo his dream of being free to be with Li Luo; more court politics after he comes back as Li Tian Jin and is struggling with the conflict over his residual hatred of Ka Suo. And of course, ANYTHING where Ying Kong Shi is tricking Ka Suo for his own good, and Ka Suo defeats his brother's trickery and low self-esteem through the purity of his love and ability to see the best in Ying Kong Shi.

I like Ka Suo's relationship with Li Luo and Ying Kong Shi's friendship(?) with Yan Da, so don't feel that you need to write either of those ladies out of the story or alter those emotional connections. As long as the focus is the bond between Ka Suo and Ying Kong Shi, I'm good :D

I've seen the follow-up web series (Ice Fantasy: Destiny), but I'm meh about it -- having things be in the modern world just kinda ruins the cracktastic fun for me. If you want to include details from that, feel free, but maybe only if you figure out a way to take it BACK to the realm of ridiculous fantasy shenanigans.

2. Fandom: Three Lives, Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms

I have many optional details, mostly because I had a challenging time trying to figure out how to request this fandom. Basically, I have a bunch of characters that I would be happy to get stories for, but there are certain combinations I tend to prefer. They are, in no particular order:

Dong Hua Dijun/Bai Feng Jiu - Yeah, I love them. I'm really looking forward to the Pillow Book (and I hope we actually get it over here now that Dramafever is dead ;_; ) I've read a fan translation of the Pillow Book -- I almost like that version of Dijun and Feng Jiu EVEN MORE. Dijun is the original troll, and I love him. Feng Jiu COULD have been obnoxious, but somehow Dilraba Dilmurat makes her work. There's this one moment in the show where she's following Dijun. He stops. She bumps into him. He gets that bemused Dijun look... SHE SHAKES HER HEAD AND PAWS AT HER NOSE LIKE A FOX! It's just a quiet moment, but it's exemplary of what I love about these two as a pair. I'd love a story of unrequited (or requited?) romance, or possibly something spun out of their time together as mortals -- I prefer heavenly hijinks, but I feel like we didn't get enough emotional fallout from that. Hurt/comfort is also a total win. Something where Feng Jiu gets to be awesome and impress Dijun would also be fun.

Ye Hua/Li Jing - I wish more media would close its triangles, and this triangle leg in particular is one I'm enamoured of. I'd love to see them working together during the Ghost Tribe/Mermaid Tribe rebellion. I'd love some sort of fix-it for Li Jing's death, because grrrrr, they killed the pretty! I'd love something where angsty hedonist Li Jing and buttoned up, emotionally-reserved Ye Hua both have to break out of their usual habits. Preferably with kanoodling and hair porn.

Yan Zhi/Zi Lan - GHOST PRINCESS IS THE BEST (no really, I wish Dai Si got as much work as Dilraba. I adore her and want more!) And her friendship/failed romance with Zi Lan just breaks my heart, especially because they're both good people trying to do the honorable thing. I would love something that brings them back together, or some story where they keep running into each other -- a romance separated by time is okay when you live for hundreds of thousands of years. Just... y'know... condense it for me :D Alternatively, tales from the time they were working at the tavern could be fun, though she didn't talk at all during that time, so that might be less fun. Maybe they found out who each other was and then later got amnesia? Or an AU where they found out who each other was right away and THEN spent several years just having mortal realm adventures and romance?

Bai Zhen/Zhe Yan - I love these guys as the established romance couple, and it makes me happy that their romance made it through to the show as intact as Chinese censors are likely to allow. I'd love a story about how they got together, or some other emotional development stage of their romance. Maybe a side adventure while all their friends are having wacky-crazy world-shattering adventures. Just something that lets me see their love and solidity

3. Fandom: Hwayugi/Korean Oddyssey

These two boys. These two. I just love the unlikely roommate/forced collaborationy-ness of them. I love that, however awful and demony he might have been, Woo Ma Wong's love for Princess Iron Fan gives him the steel backbone to fight against those dmeonic urges for a THOUSAND YEARS in order to become a god. I love that, god though he may be/once was, Son Oh Gong is... not a nice guy :D I love his cockyness and self-assurance, and the way he kinda fucks with everyone, but when he's being solid, he's solid to the core.

ALL the characters in this show are great, so feel free to add as many as you are interested in bringing in, but at the core, I want more Son Oh Gong and Woo Ma Wong adventures!

This is very ODAO, but if you're feeling ambitious, I would love a post-series 'Journey to the Underworld' style fic where Son Oh Gong, Woo Ma Wang, Jeo Pal Gye, and Winter General go to get Seon Mi, Bu Ja, and Summer Fairy back from death.

As for more general notes:

Things That Are my Crack: Relationship development seamlessly woven into plot. I love plot on its own and I love romance on its own, but I feel like they both elevate each other when they progress together. A romance that develops between two (or more) well-rounded individuals who have to come together and overcome their differences to achieve a mutual goal is... pretty much the best ever.

Things That Are Yay: Shippyness! Banter! Plot! (Casefic, etc. If you have the time and energy -- I know it can be a lot of work.) Fic that could fit into canon; Drama, up to and including aaaaaangst; Witty humor; Porn, especially if the characters have important character conversations/development and/or banter during sex; Verbal power games with consensual physical interactions/sex; Science and Magic; Time-travel (especially closed-system time travel); Identity Porn

Things That Are A-okay: violence, up to a point (see below); Dub-con of the sex-pollen and fuck-or-die sort (but not drunk!sex); Non-explicit sex; AUs of the "what if this event went differently?" sort; Inclusion of nominated characters I didn't request; Inclusion of canonical characters who haven't been nominated; Original characters as needed for the story; Most tenses, narrative formats, etc.

Things That Are Meh: straight-up character introspection; Nonfiction-style worldbuilding; First person unless that is how the canon is written; unnecessary epithets (i.e., please generally use characters' names/pronouns unless their name isn't known to the POV character).

DNWs: Second person PoV; radical AUs like coffee shop, genderswaps (unless specifically requested), mpreg, a/b/o, etc.; "Five Things"-type stories; Domestic or slice-of-life fics where nothing happens; Requested characters having only a cameo in the story, unless otherwise specified in the prompt; Gross-out humor or silliness; Non-Con or drunk!sex (but dub-con of the sex-pollen and fuck-or-die type is okay); Humiliation; Torture porn, especially with female victims.
