So, I was waiting to post anything til it was all signed sealed and delivered, but I have some awesome news. I just got hired as an assistant acquisitions editor for an academic press in Washington DC! I'll be acquiring for their anthropology list, about 30-40 titles a year to start. I'm moving to DC at the end of the month, and I start on October 1st.

So, like, whoa!

Details about goodbye parties, etc, will be forthcoming. For now, I must spin...

It's the weekend of September 26th & 27th. We'll be in AC starting the night of the 25th with a pre-convention party and then staying through the 28th for a picnic on the beach. Check out our website if you feel like taking part in all the shenanigans: www.rockycon2008.com

If you need a place to crash for that weekend, I'm sure we can find you a spot. It would be great to see you, so let us know what we could do to twist your arm. Feel free to drag anyone else along with you too. It's going to be one hell of a party.
