Apparently, the official "Talk Like a Pirate Day" is fast approaching. As a resident ninja-afficionado, I think it's pretty pathetic that I know about this before any of the pirates.

see, i first heard about it sunday, but it was from Dave Barry, who often makes these things up. i'd yet to confirm it with a reliable source.
