K.a.R.o.D.
Jul. 21st, 2006 04:42 pmSo, as some of you may know, I am teaching Groups this summer and my class was responsible for starting a meme. Rather than just having our message be an empty thing, my students decided they wanted to promote safe-sex. They developed K.a.R.o.D. (Keep a Rubber on Deck), and have been doing various things to raise this in the consciousness of fellow Groups students. One of the things they did was create a facebook group dedicated to K.a.R.o.D., and another one intended to spread the message beyond the Groups program. As our final project we are going to be developing the content of these facebook communities to have information and links about safe sex. My students have become very excited about tracking the growth of their numbers, and all of us are doing what we can to promote our message. If you have a facebook account, please join our group by visiting the following link, or leave your facebook name here and I'll make sure you get an invite.
Thanks! And Keep a Rubber on Deck!

Then I showed her it was a clear plastic sticker on a normal condom, and that she could probably do it herself for cheaper.
